The Mobile World Congress 2024 is just around the corner and so are teasers of upcoming mobile devices. One of them is Energizer – the popular company behind long-lasting batteries.
That said, the brand will present its new smartphone packed with an incredibly huge battery. It’s called Energizer P28K and as its name suggests, it sports a 28,000mAh battery – the biggest to be fit on a smartphone just yet.
The upcoming, robust smartphone will grace users a 6.78-inch FHD display and three rear cameras in a 60MP + 20MP + 20MP sensor configuration. It also has a 16MP selfie camera.
Other specs awaiting confirmation include:
- An octa-core processor
- A microSD card slot
- A dedicated headphone jack
- NFC
- Refresh rate
It’s speculated to run Android 14 and feature dust and water resistance via IP68 or IP69 rating.
In other news, Energizer Holdings, Inc. announced its 2024 Q1 financial results. The net sales for the quarter went down by 6.3% and organic net sales by 7.4% compared to the prior year. Thus, the company made the necessary adjustments to reduce its existing debt.
Energizer smartphones are currently licensed by Avenir Telecom, which is now seeking distribution partnerships for the upcoming P28K handset.
