Users in India can get free screen and battery replacements for their Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
Do you own a Samsung Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S22 suffering from pesky green lines? Help may be on its way as the tech giant starts offering free screen replacement for these former flagships.
According to a user on Samsung’s community website, the company has been offering such display replacements for certain models since last year in India. But the new development is the expanded offer to both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series. The offer originally included Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series.
There are, however, limitations with the expanded replacement support. Users must book at a Samsung Service Center until April 30, 2024 for a free replacement. Yes, this is a one-time thing.
Those who get the free replacement will also receive a free battery. If you add the display and battery replacement, you’re practically getting a free refurbishment for your affected Galaxy device.
Recipients are so lucky because both Galaxy S21 and S22 are not yet that old and they come with modern hardware. They are still getting software updates and the replacements will definitely extend their lifespan even further.
