Google Pixel 7 and its Pro version were announced earlier this year during the I/O event, an important information about its launch date leaked online, now we sit back and relax…
Google has already unveiled the looks and the design of Both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at the I/O 2022. But the catch is, no further mentions of the specifications of both phones has been shared to the public, nor the release date. But, in a turn of events, we may be able to predict both the launch date and specs of Google’s latest smartphones.
According to Jon Prosser, a well-known “internet tipster”, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be up for orders on October 6th this year. He also claims that the launch event may be held in the same day also. But the official release of these flagship smartphones will fall on the 13th of October. You’re probably wondering, who the heck is Jon Prosser? Prosser is one of the most reliable tipsters out there, as he predicted the launch date of Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with such accuracy.
According to Google News via Telegram, Google might still use the same Cortex-A55 cores (the same used on the Pixel 6 series), and it screams low-performance. To top things off, we also get a hint about next year’s Pixel 7a, and it is codenamed “Felix”, (not the cat, or the YouTuber Pewdiepie’s real name), as of now, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are codenamed as “Panther” and “Cheetah” for now.
Let’s finish this off on a high note: the Pixel 7 Pro will have the new Samsung S6E3HC4 panel, according to reports. Although the panel has the same resolution to the Pixel 6 Pro, Android 13’s beta source code suggests that it will be slightly brighter than the Pixel 6 Pro, respectively. Another tipster, Mishaal Rahman noticed the new piece of code, and its shows that the Pixel 7 Pro can reach up to 600 nits maximum brightness in manual mode, that’s a 20% increase versus the Pixel 6 Pro. It will be powered by the 2nd Gen version of Google Tensor and it should come with major improvements regarding its cameras.
For now, we’ll keep you posted about Pixel 7 related news in the coming days, so stick around, fellow reader.
