While the Honor 90 series smartphones have already made way in China, the anticipation builds for their international release with Google Mobile Services (GMS). Honor’s recent announcement on their France website confirms the imminent arrival of the Honor 90 Lite 5G.
While the website keeps the specifications unknown, we have been treated to a sneak peek of the Honor 90 Lite 5G’s design. Thanks to the diligent folks at Appuals. The renders showcase the device in three alluring color variants: Blue, Black, and Silver.
At the front, the device flaunts a centered punch hole selfie camera, with slim bezels on the top and sides. The bottom bezel, although slightly larger, doesn’t detract from the overall sleekness. On the flip side, the phone has a triple camera setup, with an impressive 100MP primary sensor. It is also accompanied by a flash to ensure stunning photography experiences.
Analyzing the renders, it becomes evident that the phone draws inspiration from its Chinese counterpart, the Honor X50i 5G. However, there is subtle modifications catering to the global audience. Notably, the Honor 90 Lite 5G distinguishes itself with its triple camera arrangement, unlike the Honor X50i 5G. This device marks the return of the Lite numbered series for the brand, following its predecessor, the Honor 70 Lite.
Anticipation builds for the enhancements that the Honor 90 Lite 5G will bring to the table. We can expect upgrades like an FHD+ display sporting a refresh rate of 90Hz. Despite that, it remains uncertain whether it will adopt an LCD panel. Considering that the Honor 70 Lite embraced the entry-level Snapdragon 480+ chipset, it is likely that the Honor 90 Lite will incorporate a refreshed entry-level SoC, such as the Snapdragon 695 or the Dimensity 6020 SoC. As the launch date draws near, we eagerly await further details to surface, unraveling the full potential of this intriguing device.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Honor 90 Lite 5G as the tech world braces for its debut.
