Huawei Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro specs and price leaked ahead of winter launch

Huawei will grace us with another lineup this Christmas season. The company is planning to launch the next-generation Nova series, with specs allegedly unveiled.

Previously, Huawei launched the autumn product series which included the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate, Freebuds Pro 3, Watch GT 4, and MatePad Pro 13.2. Now, the company wants to take the winter season with Huawei Nova 12 and Nova 12 Pro. The latest rumor mill includes a few interesting things about this upcoming series.

First, the Huawei Nova 12 and Nova 12 Pro are allegedly powered by the Kirin 9000S SoC, the same one on the Huawei Mate 60 lineup. Second, the 2023 Nova series may arrive as early as October if everything goes well. If not, it may debut in November. And third, the front cameras are speculated to be powerful.

The leaked specs claimed that Huawei Nova 12 will be equipped with the Kirin 830 chipset, a triple-rear camera setup, and a 4800mAh battery with 88w fast charging. Nova 12’s back camera is composed of a 50-MP main shooter, 12-MP ultrawide sensor with macro, and 8-MP telephoto module.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Nova 12 Pro is allegedly equipped with Kirin 9000S, a triple-rear camera setup, and a 4900mAh battery with 100w fast charging. The rear cameras are composed of a 50-MP main shooter, 50-MP telephoto sensor, and 12-MP ultrawide with macro.

The Huawei Nova 12 Pro is also claimed with two 60-MP front camera with ultrawide angle, 4K video, and 10-speed variable aperture. The regular Nova 12 has a single 60-MP front camera which supports ultrawide angle and 4K video.

The leak also alleged that the starting price is around $410 or ₱23,350.32. If you’re waiting for the Huawei Nova 12 series, expect the phones to be released between October and December.
