Infinix GT 10 Pro launched, a Nothing Phone (2) look-alike?

The wait is over! The new Infinix GT 10 Pro has just launched bearing attractive features for mobile gamers at an affordable price point

The Infinix GT 10 Pro represents the company’s latest gaming smartphone offering, characterized by its affordable price point. Infinix’s intention is to cater to young gamers by delivering a budget-friendly yet high-performance gaming encounter while appealing to the gaming community’s aesthetic preferences.

The device immediately catches the eye with its cyberpunk-themed rear panel adorned with a mini-LED indicator. Infinix emphasizes that the RGB lights enable users to showcase their distinctiveness and current mood.

The phone is available in two color choices: Cyber Black and Mirage Silver. Furthermore, it arrives with a custom protective cover that is purpose-built to endure intense gaming sessions, providing both a secure grip and a dependable tactile sensation.

In an innovative twist, Infinix points out that the packaging box can double as a music amplifier and charging stand.

The phone’s display boasts a 6.67-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen, boasting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, touch sampling rate of 360Hz, 1920Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ resolution at 2400 x 1080, and an integrated In-Display fingerprint sensor. Notably, it has received certification from TÜV Rheinland for optical safety, particularly during nighttime use.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 3.0GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor, designed for 5G readiness, and accompanied by the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This chip is identical to the one featured in the recently unveiled Infinix NOTE 30 VIP. Notably, the Dimensity 8050 outperforms the Snapdragon 778G, a common chipset found in more costly premium mid-range devices, as indicated by benchmark scores.

The processor is complemented by 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, with the option for up to 8GB Extended RAM, totaling 16GB. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery, capable of 45W SuperCharge via USB-C, with support for the PD 3.0 charging standard, ensuring safe and intelligent charging. It also features bypass charging technology.

To maintain optimal performance, Infinix has implemented a vapor chamber liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat and allow the phone to remain cool during extended gaming sessions.

The smartphone has a powerful camera system with a 108MP main shooter, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera, and four LED flashes. The front-facing camera is 32MP and has a 2x LED flash.

The phone also features stereo speakers and 4D vibration technology, which provide an immersive audio and haptic experience. It runs on Android 13 OS with Pure XOS 13, which has a “reduced” amount of bloatware and no ads. The handset has a 36-Month Fluency Rating of A, which means that it is expected to be a reliable and smooth-running device for at least 3 years.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro is a new smartphone that is priced at USD 250, which is equivalent to PHP 13,800. This makes it a very affordable option for those who are looking for a powerful and feature-rich device.
