The Infinix GT 20 Pro boasts numerous upgrades, including a better CPU, two-chipset layout, and design inspired by another smartphone.
The next-generation Infinix GT smartphone is coming soon. Not only it’s reported with a higher processor, but it’s also rumored to have a Nothing Phone-inspired element.
The upcoming Infinix GT 20 Pro is the new addition to the brand’s gaming lineup and it features a mecha design to boot, much like its predecessor. However, there are notable upgrades based on reports.
The first major upgrade is the dual-chipset approach. One chipset will handle the display refresh rate, letting mobile gamers enjoy up to 120 FPS. The other chipset will manage power for better energy efficiency while the device is in use.
The next upgrade is the processor, now on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, better than the D8050 on the predecessor. The Dimensity 8200 currently scores over 910K on AnTuTu 10.
That D8200 is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and a vapor chamber to keep the device cool under heavy load. For all-day use, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will have 5,000 mAh battery and 45W turbo charging. It’s likely to feature bypass charging for nonstop gaming potential.
Another upgrade is the design inspired by the Nothing Phone (2). That’s the “Cyber Mecha Design,” which may include rear LED lights.
The camera housing appears the same as the predecessor, which is a pentagon camera island. Three cameras will be placed inside but their specs are yet to be revealed.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro will also support 5G and Wi-Fi 6. It’s speculated to arrive on April 28 in Saudi Arabia.
