Infinix HOT 30 Unboxing and First impressions!

Infinix’s newest midrange smartphone, the Infinix HOT 30 will surely captivate the hearts of budget gamers out there! Will it be one of the greatest deals of the century or nay?

The sleek Infinix HOT 30 takes center stage with an unmistakable mid-range resume – but with the current price hike of smartphones last year, we are hopeful that the current trend of delivering good phones for less should continue.

But for now, we won’t talk about its performance or what makes the Infinix HOT 30, as this is only an unboxing/first impression article, so you’ll have to wait quite a bit for that.

With those out of the question, let’s take an exclusive peek at one of the most anticipated phone this year.

Box design

The box art features two characters from Free Fire. Free Fire is a battle royale game developed by Garena and It is one of the most popular mobile games in the world, with over 1 billion downloads! The game is free to play and can be currently downloaded on Android and iOS devices.

It is basically your standard Infinix box design, with a bright neon green hue for the most part with numerous information and specifications about the phone shown on it.

The model designation HOT 30 is printed on the side of the box with a blue accent. Pretty simple, but it shows enough that the HOT series is an established series of phones.

Below the box’s front image, one of the phone’s specifications could be seen in more detail. It has a striking neon green accent design to draw people in – mentioning the processor name, G88, to ensure customers that the phone will have a respectable performance.

A landscape view of the box. It definitely grabs your attention and draws you in like a bait before suddenly going BAM! The phone is now in your hands.

Additional details about the phone and business information are located behind the box. It also includes the phone’s specifications.

Quick Unboxing

With the unboxing out of the way, we can now proceed with the phone itself!

Phone/Case design

The HOT 30 features the same glossy plastic back as its brothers and predecessors, but Infinix added some flair by giving it a glass-like appearance with lines. Because of how easily they smudge, glossy finishes are often not our favorite, but the HOT 30 is less of a smudge magnet. The HOT 30 is enhanced by the line pattern on the back, but we prefer to use the provided all-black case since it complements the tonal branding and graphics better.

A closer look at the phone’s camera setup. It is a dual camera setup: 50 + 0.08MP. It is pretty capable, with Quad-LED flash, HDR, panorama and can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

The Dual SIM and SD Card slots are on the phone’s left side. The network band on the phone only extends to LTE, which is sufficient.

On the phone’s right side is the volume rocker and the power button with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Located below the phone is the USB Type C 2.0 port, alongside the stereo speaker and a 3.5mm jack.

It can be seen from this angle that there is a noticeable camera bump, but not huge enough to warrant uncomfortability.

Included with the box is a special edition phone case inspired by Garena Free Fire. It is a leather case and the design is simple but full of personality.

When you insert the phone inside the cover, it truly fits and tucks away within. It has a pleasant feel to it, and the cover makes holding the phone while playing games easier.

Display

On its front is an 8MP selfie camera. It has Dual-LED flash and capable of 1080p@30fps video recording.

The Infinix Hot 30 has a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, which means that it can refresh 90 times per second. This results in a smoother and more fluid user experience when scrolling, gaming, or watching videos. It also has a peak brightness of 580 nits, which is bright enough for most uses, even in direct sunlight.

Conclusion

The phone definitely looks promising! The design is simple but it has more than enough personality to show that it clamors for gamers and people who loves a phone that is very capable for daily usage. It is fairly powerful, and along with its special edition phone case, it doesn’t feel cheap at all.
