Infinix NOTE 40 Series launched: Innovating battery life for the midrange segment

The Infinix NOTE 40 Series advances battery care and charging modes for consumer protection and maximum enjoyment throughout the day.

The Infinix NOTE 40 Series, consisting of four models, gives users extended gaming times, broadened battery life on-the-go, and protected charging even in extreme temperatures.

This series’ key feature is the All-Round FastCharge 2.0. This version has the Cheetah X1 Chip that optimizes battery management and includes following modules:

  1. Manage different charging protocols like Multi-Speed FastCharge, Bypass Mode, and Reverse Charge Mode. Whether nonstop gaming or charging another device, the Infinix NOTE 40 Series can support different power demands.
  2. Monitor the current flowing into the phone. Infinix NOTE 40 models are optimized to stay cool while charging so they won’t overheat.
  3. Apply 63 charging protection schemes so the Infinix NOTE 40 phones will reach their maximum charging cycle and go beyond the limit.

While the series is focused on protecting the battery, Infinix didn’t remove fast-charging support. The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro has 70W fast charging while 100W for the higher Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G.

Despite that charge speed, Infinix promised that the handset will maintain 80% of its battery health after 1,600 full charge cycles. Users have a role in that by selecting the preferred charging mode:

Users can go for wireless charging on the Infinix NOTE 40 series with a rate of 20W. The brand bundled the Infinix MagKit in the MagCase phone case for convenience sake.

Another highlight of the series is its capability to handle cold charging of up to minus 20 degrees Celsius (-20°C).

Performance-wise, the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G sports the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 and 12GB of RAM. The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity G99 Ultimate and up to 12GB of RAM.

The Infinix NOTE 40 Series will be launched worldwide tomorrow, March 19, and comes in three colorways: Vintage Green, Obsidian Black, and Titan Gold. A Racing Edition, a collaboration between Infinix and DesignWorks, is also set for release in the middle of the year.
