Infinix NOTE 40 Series leaks: Helio G99, 8GB RAM, 1080p punch-hole display, 5W wireless charging

Infinix is actively developing new additions to its NOTE series, with the Infinix NOTE 40 and NOTE 40 Pro models recently making appearances in certification listings, offering a glimpse into their key specifications.

These sightings, which include certifications from NBTC, Bluetooth SIG, and the Google Play Console, have unveiled crucial details about these upcoming smartphones.

The Pro model, identified by the X6850 model number, has already cleared various certifications, confirming Bluetooth 5.3 support. Now, the base NOTE 40, sporting the X6853 model number, has also received certification. Notably, the Infinix NOTE 40 series is set to debut with the Android 14 operating system out of the box, providing users with the latest software experience.

Both the NOTE 40 and NOTE 40 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, available in configurations featuring at least 8GB of RAM. Fabricated on the 6nm process and supporting 4G connectivity, this chipset ensures a robust performance. The series will showcase a display with a pixel resolution of 2436 x 1080 and an impressive pixel density of 480 PPI. Render images shared on the Google Play Console reveal a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Examining the device’s design, the right side accommodates the volume rockers and power button, while the rear showcases a triple camera setup.

Additional details from MySmartPrice, who spotted the vanilla variant on FCC, confirm the inclusion of 5W wireless charging. FCC documents also reveal the U450XSB model number for the Note 40, substantiating 45W wired fast charging capabilities. Furthermore, the Note 40 boasts a sleek 8mm thin body, adding to its overall appeal.
