In India, Infinix has introduced the Infinix SMART 8 and SMART 8 HD smartphones, expanding its 8-series lineup.
The SMART 8 Plus boasts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel featuring a centered punch-hole. Delivering an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits brightness, the display is complemented by an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Turning to the back panel, the device houses a 50-megapixel main camera, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Helio G36 chip, coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB. Expandable storage is facilitated by a microSD card slot. Running on XOS 13-based Android 13 Go, the device prioritizes security with a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
With a large 6,000mAh battery and 18W charging, the entry-level smartphone will guarantee an all-day entertainment. Connectivity features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 163.65 x 75.7 x 8.95mm and weighs 204 grams.
In terms of color options, the Smart 8 Plus will be available in four stylish shades: Timber Black, Galaxy White, and Shiny Gold. However, Infinix is yet to disclose the pricing and availability details for the Smart 8 Plus, leaving consumers eager to learn more about this latest addition to the SMART 8-series lineup.
