One of the biggest tech YouTubers in the world got its official YouTube account hacked with no official statement from Linus Group as of now
One hour ago, news surfaced from Reddit about Linus Sebastian’s flagship YouTube channel had been hacked and replaced with weird cryptocurrency videos.
Linus Sebastian, one of the most popular and biggest YouTubers under the category has been running since the late 2000s and from there, garnered a steady stream of audience due to Linus’ charming personality, informative tech-related content, and humor.
We visited Linus Tech Tips on YouTube and we have found only a message from the video-sharing site that indicates that the channel “violated” the community guidelines.
At this moment, we don’t know if Linus and the entire Linus Group know about it already, and whether they are taking steps about it to retrieve their account and keep it running again. This goes to show that no matter how big you are on YouTube, the dangers of being hacked is never gone.
