Live images show vivo X Fold3 integrating with Mac

vivo X Fold3 showcased with remote control on Mac and a new design.

Integrating Android and iOS is possible but with significant limitations. The most common ending is the two are simply connected for file sharing.

But a recent leak revealed an integration between Mac and vivo X Fold3. On Weibo, the leak revealed the new device has the user interface of Mac.

Before you judge, the device is seemingly running a Mac computer remotely with the UI on the alleged vivo X Fold3. The UI is also split screen with the keyboard at the bottom half of the display.

But besides that astonishing remote control, the leaked images unveiled some physical elements of vivo X Fold3. First, the sides of the smartphone are less curved compared to its predecessor.

Second, the speaker at the bottom looks quite different from the past model. And lastly, the selfie camera is now placed at the upper right area, which may be better for immersion than a centered punch hole.

However, there’s a possible letdown based on the images. The power key is flat and it may suggest a fingerprint sensor. The vivo X Fold2 came out with under-display fingerprint sensors on both screens.

We may still see that on the Pro version. If that’s true, then the device shown above is likely the affordable variant.

As usual, take everything with a pinch of salt as these are just leaks and rumors.
