Maya Stocks now available: Pick your broker and investment terms on over 280 PH companies

Maya launched Maya Stocks to give Filipinos access to managed investment schemes and more.

Maya is bringing stock trading to more people with its newly launched Maya Stocks. It’s the first retail investing service in the country integrated within a digital bank app.

According to a report, Maya claims that the app offers users real-time transactions and instant earnings growth through several options. Users who are interested can invest in more than 280 publicly listed companies in the Philippine Stock Exchange, along with local Securities Exchange-licensed stockbroker partners.

The Maya Stocks feature went live on December 15. Users should now be able to buy, sell, and manage shares anytime, anywhere using the dedicated marketplace. Besides Philstocks, other partner brokers like 2TradeAsia and Seedbox will arrive soon.

Stock trading is unbeknownst to many Filipinos, while some of those who know avoid the idea. This type of trading has its own risks and not everyone gets the best rewards at times. Thus, only 1% of adult Filipinos invest their money in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and many other managed investment schemes.

But with Maya Stocks, newbies who want to give it a try can now do so just by using the Maya app. If you want to try stock trading with Maya, the brand suggests reinvesting earnings from Maya Stocks on other services, including Maya Save and Maya Funds. The earnings may also be used on shopping and bill payments.
