Motorola Edge 50 Pro: 165Hz curved screen, SD 8 Gen 3, 12GB RAM, 125W charging

Motorola Edge 50 Pro keeping curved screen alive on flagships. It’s speculated to be announced next month.

Many flagship smartphones in recent years have carried the iconic curved display, which also inspired the launch of a handful of affordable models with such a display. However, latest flagships like the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra went for flat displays.

Meanwhile, Motorola doesn’t want to go with that flow based on the leaked renders of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

The leak showed nearly everything about this upcoming Moto flagship. While its design isn’t a breakthrough, you can definitely see the ultra-slim form and premiumness.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has three colorways in Black, Blue, and White/Silver. It’s expected to be launched in three different names. Motorola Edge+ (2024) for the US, Motorola X50 Ultra for China, and Motorola Edge 50 Pro for other territories.

Specs-wise, Motorola Edge 50 Pro is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 12GB RAM, and 4500mAh battery. This battery supports a whooping 125W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Those who love taking pics and videos will get a triple-rear camera setup on this smartphone. It’s spearheaded by the 50MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.4, paired with a 13mm wide-angle lens and 73mm telephoto lens, which has 6x zoom. OIS is supported too!

See the beauty of its curved display below.

The renders showed April 3 on the phone’s display. That may just be the announced date of Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Fingers crossed!
