nubia Neo 5G: A new ZTE 5G gaming series with a rare UNISOC T820 chipset!

As part of their brand-new 5G series, ZTE just dropped teaser on Facebook of the nubia Neo 5G. This cutting-edge device will redefine the gaming experience like never before. It will feature an exclusive and rare chipset: the UNISOC T820 which we will investigate.

The UNISOC T820, formerly Spreadtrum, is a highly capable mid-range System-on-Chip (SoC) designed specifically for Android-based smartphones and tablets. Be aware of the mid-range categorization; this powerhouse has plenty of tricks.

The nubia Neo 5G will not only run on the T820’s, it will also have an impressive three-cluster architecture. It combines the performance of a fast ARM Cortex-A76 core, clocked at a blazing 2.7 GHz, with three additional A76 performance cores running at speeds of up to 2.3 GHz.

To ensure efficient power consumption, the T820 also includes a power-efficient cluster consisting of four ARM-Cortex-A55 cores, which can reach speeds of up to 2.1 GHz. This unique configuration guarantees optimal performance without sacrificing battery life.

High Data Transfer Speeds

When it comes to memory, the T820 doesn’t disappoint. Its integrated memory controller supports LPDDR4/4X memory running at speeds of up to 2133 MHz (2x 16 Bit). This means lightning-fast data access, smooth multitasking, and quick app launches. Say goodbye to frustrating lags and hello to seamless gaming sessions.

Camera capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will also appreciate the Nubia Neo 5G’s imaging capabilities, thanks to the T820’s integrated Image Signal Processor (ISP). This ISP supports up to two main cameras and two subsidiary cameras, allowing for breathtaking shots with resolutions of up to a staggering 108 MPix. Capture every detail of your surroundings and preserve your memories in stunning clarity.

Spectacular Graphics

Of course, a gaming smartphone is only complete with exceptional graphics performance. The T820 has an ARM Mali-G57 MC4 graphics card featuring four cores clocked at up to 850 MHz speeds. Unisoc has taken innovation further by incorporating hardware AI acceleration into this remarkable chipset.

With a peak performance of up to 8.0 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) from its Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the T820 unleashes the power of artificial intelligence. Prepare for enhanced gaming features, AI-driven photography capabilities, and lightning-fast AI-assisted tasks that make your smartphone more competent than ever before.

Power Efficiency

To top it all off, the T820 chipset uses the cutting-edge 6nm EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography) process. This modern manufacturing technology ensures improved power efficiency and enhanced performance, allowing you to enjoy extended gaming sessions without worrying about battery life.

There is still not a lot of information about the Nubia Neo 5G but it will surely still the show. It is really promising to be a true gaming powerhouse. As new information emerges, we will be sure to update you.
