OnePlus 12 to give users thrilling visuals even outdoors with 2600 nits peak brightness.
Screen brightness is a big deal outdoors because you want to see the texts and images clearly. But many phones are hardly readable under the bright sun.
In this arena, OnePlus is taking things to another level with 2600 nits at peak brightness. According to a popular leakster, the OnePlus 12 is getting that peak brightness value on launch.
The upcoming smartphone’s brightness will also be optimized to deliver 2160Hz PWM dimming frequency. This should cut down screen flickering so the display will be easier on the reader’s eyes.
On top of that, the OnePlus 12 will sport a large 6.82 inches of LTPO OLED display with 3168 x 1440 resolution or 2K. If you combine them, you should get crisp and vivid images indoors or outdoors.
To enhance your gaming experience, the handset will feature a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid and responsive feel. This is expected to be supported by the adaptive refresh rate option.
According to a report, apart from its amazing display, OnePlus 12’s top variant will have 24GB of RAM and 1TB internal storage. It will likely get the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, slated for reveal later this month.
Its predecessor, OnePlus 11, is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. You can check out our specs page for more info.
