OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G Officially Launched in the Philippines: Hidden Gem?

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was silently launched in the Philippines and it looks like this phone is a hidden gem. It’s actually a realme 10 Pro 5G with double the storage and costs way less!

DESIGN

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is an excellent phone in both the design and specs department. It looks simple yet eye catching. Its got 2 colors: Chromatic Grey and Pastel Lime. I like the Pastel Lime color as it looks really different from the realme 10 Pro 5G. That’s right the OnePlus Nord CE 3 looks and feels like realme’s latest midrange phone, especially the grey color. The back and body is just plastic but the glass at the front is Asahi Dragontail Star Glass which is a Corning Gorilla glass alternative that costs less.

SPECS

We’re not so impressed with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 695 5G processor as it is already outdated and has been spammed multiple times last year on many phone releases. But surprisingly the Snapdragon 695 5G has been well optimized this year to reach antutu scores of almost 400k points. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite also has an 8GB and 256GB ram and rom combo which is nice.

The battery has a huge 5000 mAh and the charging is 67W SUPERVOOC. The Display is only a 1080P IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera is a 108MP f/1.75 Samsung HM6 sensor w/ EIS + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth + LED flash and the selfie camera is a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471. It’s basically the realme 10 Pro 5G with just double the storage.

PRICE

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is priced at PHP14,990 as its SRP for 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. This is certainly way better pricing than the realme 10 pro 5G and you also get to have the Oxygen OS. Its great but not amazing and we feel this is just going into our ‘maganda na’ tier for the 15k and 20k smartphone tier list.
