Oppo Reno 9A specs and images leaked: A realme-like familiar look!

The Oppo Reno 9A images and specs appeared online and something about it really has a striking resemblance with a very popular realme smartphone. It will succeed the Reno 7A, and it will likely hit the Japanese market first.

Design-wise, the renders reveal that the Oppo Reno 9A will feature a corner punch-hole display, where the front-facing camera is. The back of the phone showcases a rectangular glossy section at the top, housing a triple camera setup along with dual LED flash units. Interestingly, the camera module design appears to be quite similar to the one found on the Realme GT Neo 3T.

In terms of dimensions, it will measure 160 x 74 x 7.8mm and weigh in at 183 grams, offering a sleek and lightweight feel. As for color options, buyers in Japan can expect to choose between Night Black and Moon White variants.

The Oppo Reno 9A is rumored to boast a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It offers an FHD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. To keep things secure, the device will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of performance, the Reno 9A will fall into the mid-range category, powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery to keep you going throughout the day. The device is expected to support Quick Charge 2.0 and USB PD 2.0 charging protocols for fast and convenient charging.

Memory-wise, the Reno 9A will offer 8GB of RAM along with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, providing a smooth multitasking experience. Storage-wise, it will come with 128GB of internal storage, which should offer ample space for all your apps, photos, and videos. Additionally, it will run on ColorOS 13, based on Android 13, ensuring a user-friendly and feature-rich interface.

For stunning selfies, it will sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the rear, you’ll find a 48-megapixel main camera, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Other notable features include a microSD card slot, e-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and a beloved 3.5mm audio jack for all the audiophiles out there.
