In the first half of November 2023, the Chinese smartphone brand Oukitel is set to introduce its flagship, the Oukitel WP30 Pro rugged smartphone, and we have acquired some key details about it, including its price range and images.
The Oukitel WP30 Pro features a robust 6.78″ 120Hz FullHD+ display with a centered punch-hole design to accommodate the selfie camera. On the rear of the device, there is an additional screen, framed by a flash and three distinct cameras, including a 108MP primary camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
This secondary rear screen serves multiple functions, such as displaying a compass, indicating battery status, managing music controls, relaying notifications, and tracking step count. Additionally, it can function as a viewfinder for capturing selfies using the impressive 108MP camera.
The Oukitel WP30 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8050 SoC, offering substantial performance, and is equipped with 12GB of RAM and a capacious 512GB of storage. Out of the box, it will operate on Android 13, although the number of future OS version upgrades remains uncertain.
Moreover, the WP30 Pro boasts a trio of rugged certifications: IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H, ensuring durability and resilience. Powering this robust device is a colossal 11,000 mAh battery, complemented by rapid 120W charging support, capable of reaching a 50% charge from flat in just 15 minutes.
The WP30 Pro is expected to be priced between $329.99 (€315/INR27,530) and $359.99 (€340/INR30,030), which is equivalent to approximately PHP 18,746.57 to PHP 20,450.85.
