No need to pause your gaming sessions when outdoors. Use Thor’s hammer to power up your PCs outside.
While other brands are busy playing with April Fool’s Day, ASUS is busy forging Thor’s hammer, albeit a version for mortals.
The multinational tech company revealed the ASUS ROG Mjolnir Power Station. It takes the iconic looks of Thor’s weapon and even its trait: electricity.
This is a power station designed to support PC gamers so they can enjoy gaming outdoors.
No concrete info about its capacity, charging speed, and other specs, but the image showed at least four power outlets and four USB ports. Two of these are type-C and the other two are type-A. There’s also a digital LCD to let you read statistical details.
The base of the hammer fits, though the handle looks odd. Can you imagine yourself carrying this power station by its handle?
Anyway, it’s designed for gamers and ASUS has been known to release weird-looking stuff and they often succeed.
ASUS ROG Mjolnir will be unveiled during Computex 2024, scheduled for June in Taipei, Taiwan.
