realme 12 Pro series elevates imaging excellence with Oscar-Winning cinematographer collab

The realme 12 Pro is set to elevate its camera capabilities through notable collaborations, with the latest being Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda. Following a partnership with a luxury watchmaker, realme is now tapping into Miranda’s expertise to “perfect the image tuning of the realme 12 Pro series.”

Oscar-winning cinematographer, Claudio Miranda

Claudio Miranda, renowned for his outstanding work in movies such as Oblivion, Tron: Legacy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Life of Pi, and the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick, holds an Oscar for Best Cinematography. realme’s decision to bring Miranda on board suggests a commitment to achieving excellence in image quality, although the specifics of his role in this regard remain undisclosed.

The realme 12 Pro positions itself as a camera-centric midranger, featuring Sony’s IMX890 sensor for the main camera and a half-inch (1/2″) OV64B sensor for the 3x periscope zoom—similar to the setups found in the OnePlus 12, OnePlus Open, and Oppo’s Find N3.

In terms of display, the realme 12 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED screen with a commendable 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, offering up to 12GB of RAM and an expansive 512GB of storage.

As realme continues to forge partnerships with industry experts, it’s evident that the realme 12 Pro is not just a device; it’s a collaborative effort aimed at delivering a top-tier camera experience and overall performance in the midrange smartphone segment.
