Redmi A3: Premium halo design, 6.71” 90Hz display, Gorilla Glass 3, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Redmi A3 is vibing rich and trendy with premium halo design, Gorilla Glass 3, and faux leather finish.

Want an expensive-looking smartphone with an affordable price? Consider waiting for the Redmi A3. The device just got launched in India and comes with a premium halo design.

The halo design is for the dual-rear camera system and its circular module. Unlike other similar modules, the ring is fancy and stylish that you usually see on high-end smartphones.

According to a report, Redmi A3 is the latest release for Xiaomi’s A series budget line of smartphones. It’s now available in India and comes with the following specs:

  • 6.71-inch IPS LCD display
  • 720 x 1650 display resolution
  • 90Hz refresh rate
  • MediaTek Helio G36 processor
  • Up to 6GB of RAM
  • Up to 128GB of internal storage
  • Up to 1TB microSD card support

The camera halo holds the 8MP and 0.08MP lenses while the 5MP selfie camera is placed in a waterdrop notch. Although a budget phone, Redmi A3 boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a 5000mAh battery with USB-type C charging port.

Redmi A3 has three configurations with the following price tags:

  • 3GB+64GB: INR 7,299 or ₱4,919.86
  • 4GB+128GB: INR 8,299 or ₱5,593.91
  • 6GB+128GB: INR 9,299 or ₱6,267.95

Redmi A3 is available in three colorways in Midnight Black, Lake Blue, and Olive Green, with the latter having a faux leather finish. No word yet about a global or PH yet as of writing.
