Redmi Turbo 3: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, advanced cooling, 1.5K display, announcement date

Redmi will soon reveal its next-generation Turbo lineup and it will be powered by the latest SoC release by Qualcomm.

The Redmi Turbo 3 is going to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, so expect a flagship-like performance. Memory-wise, the handset can have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The phone also has a 1.5K display, two rear cameras, and one selfie shooter.

To keep it going during heavy use, Redmi added an advanced cooling system inside the Turbo 3 but the details are yet to be unveiled. Despite that, the device is incredibly thin, only under 8 millimeters with a weight of just 179 grams.

As its announcement draws near, Redmi Turbo 3 was spotted on AnTuTu, scoring over 1.6 million. On Geekbench, it scored 1,972 points on single-core performance and 5,462 points on multi-core performance.

It was even tested on popular titles and performed considerably well.

On Honor of Kings at extreme quality, the Redmi Turbo 3 sustained up to 119.7 FPS. Honkai: Star Rail at max quality ran well at 56.5 FPS, a bit similar with Genshin Impact at 58.9 FPS on 720p max graphics.

Redmi Turbo 3 appears to have low to medium power consumption when gaming. However, certain titles can drain a lot and that’s because of the high-powered chipset.

If you’re planning to upgrade to this phone, the official announcement of the Redmi Turbo 3 is slated on April 10.
