RGB lights on a phone? TECNO POVA 5 new Arc Interface revealed!

TECNO is apparently working on something called the Arc Interface – RGB lights on the back of the phone that light up for new notifications. Here “the phone” appears to be the TECNO POVA 5, although there is a chance that it is a different device instead

Here is a demo of Arc by Ishan Agarwal, which shows the light strips blink into life for an incoming call:

For comparison, here is the Nothing Phone (2):

Judging by the demo clip, the lights lack the fine-grained control that the Nothing Phone (2) has, but the POVA 5 is a lower end device. A more elaborate version could be created for more premium Tecnos.

The POVA 5 has a 6.78” 120Hz IPS LCD (FHD+) and is powered by a Helio G99 chipset (up to 8/256GB memory) and a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired-only charging. This design is called “Turbo Mecha”.

The POVA 5 will be released later this month.
