Samsung Galaxy A55’s specs have been leaked, it is a pretty solid mid-ranger!
Information regarding one of Samsung’s highly anticipated mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A55, has been relatively scarce. Therefore, the recent discoveries by GalaxyClub provide a solid foundation for the forthcoming speculations.
If Samsung adheres to its typical schedule, we can anticipate the Galaxy A55’s release around March of next year. Inside sources closely associated with the publication have unveiled key details about the device’s System-on-Chip (SoC) and primary camera specifications.
Allegedly, Samsung is currently undergoing internal testing of the Galaxy A55 with a SoC bearing the model number S5E8845, which is strongly speculated to be the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 chip. This inference is based on the fact that the Exynos 1380 and 1280 are identified by model numbers S5E8835 and S5E8825, respectively, and they power the Galaxy A54 and A53, respectively.
What adds an intriguing element to the impending Exynos 1480 SoC is the possibility that it might incorporate an AMD GPU. Earlier reports from this month have hinted at a close collaboration between Samsung and AMD to introduce AMD graphics, potentially enhancing the device’s performance in image processing and AI-related tasks. However, it’s important to note that this information remains unverified.
Lastly, the leak suggests that there won’t be any changes in the camera department, indicating that the Galaxy A55 is expected to retain the same 50MP main camera as its predecessor.
