Bland displays of Galaxy S24 finally getting fixed in the very first software update.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is composed of three powerful models and advanced AI features. However, their debut has faced a bit of backlash because of their dull displays.
On top of that, some users found problems with the camera app, more like inconsistent on enabling certain features where they are very applicable. For instance, the Night mode may not automatically turn on when using the telephoto lens in low-light conditions.
According to Samsung’s official website, the first update for the Galaxy S24 series is now rolling out. The update has three major changes for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The first one is the much-needed tweak for the display. Users can now find the new Vividness slider under the display settings. They can adjust it according to their preference.
Next is the optimization for the camera app. The update includes enhancements for the devices’ zoom functions, Portrait mode, Nightography, and rear camera video recording capabilities, among others.
The last is about “communication without language barriers,” which is quite vague. But based on the footnotes, the update has likely improved the Live Translate functionality, which enables real-time interpretation during a call.
If you don’t get the update right away, don’t worry. The rollout is always in phases and gradual per region. Your carrier will also play a role in the delivery.
