According to SamMobile and GalaxyClub, Samsung has allegedly codenamed the upcoming Galaxy S24 series as “Muse,” consisting of three variations: Muse 1, Muse 2, and Muse 3. This implies that there will likely be a Plus version included in the S24 lineup.
Based on the provided information, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is referred to as Muse 3, suggesting that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ could be referred to as Muse 1 and Muse 2, respectively. The sources also confirm that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, replacing the 3x telephoto lens found in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In April, it was reported that Samsung plans to replace the 3x telephoto lens in the S24 Ultra with a single variable folding telephoto lens that offers a zoom range of 3-10x.
