Lenovo is pushing the limits of laptop design with a futuristic transparent laptop, rumored to arrive at MWC.
This year, a Chinese-American tech company will bring the future to us, starting in the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Lenovo is poised to show everyone the likely world’s first transparent laptop.
When we say first, the first to become available for public use. Back in 2010, Samsung demonstrated a similar device during that year’s CES, but it never came out.
As per report, Lenovo is set to reveal its laptop with a transparent display screen and bezel-less design. That means you’ll see the transparent display and chassis in full glory.
Key parts are housed in the chin area with a thin, non-transparent frame surrounding the whole device. This innovation shows the brand’s commitment to pushing beyond the limits of laptop design, that visuals can still be further improved in the next level.
Sadly, the specs of this see-through Lenovo laptop haven’t leaked out, but it’s expected to run Windows 11.
The presence of the transparent device at MWC isn’t 100% confirmed, so it may or may not appear; cross your fingers. But what’s the goal here? Something to flex perhaps?
If the device has powerful hardware and can run top-tier games, then gamers will surely be first in line to grab it. Otherwise, it may only be an ornament at someone’s desk.
Plus, transparent technology remains expensive suggesting an incredible price tag for the see-through Lenovo laptop. If it appears at MWC, we can’t deny the company’s dedication in accelerating the birth of next-generation laptops.
Though I’m curious, does it have a reliable active cooling system?
Stay tuned for MWC 2024 happening from February 26 to 29 in Barcelona, Spain.
