An unknown realme smartphone is currently powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Android 14 out of the box.
The next flagship Snapdragon processor for mobile devices is still in the works. But Qualcomm decided to launch other models in the meantime, with one of them belonging to the 8 Gen 3 series.
Recently, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 surfaced with performance values on the popular benchmarking Geekbench. Its appearance on Geekbench 6 also unveiled a few more interesting details.
Let’s start with the performance scores of 1,512 points on single-core and 3,799 points on multi-core settings. Next, the unveiled configuration of this alleged Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is as follows:
- 1 Prime core clocked at 3.01 GHz
- 4 cores clocked at 2.61 GHz
- 3 cores clocked at 1.84 GHz
It’s definitely not as fast as the flagship SD 8 Gen 3, which has a Prime core clocked at 3.3GHz by default.
What’s intriguing is the debuting device – an unknown realme RMX3851. As of writing, there’s no match to this realme smartphone suggesting it’s a new model. Moreover, this realme device runs Android 14 and comes with 16GB RAM.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a four-nanometer process chipset and features the Adreno 735 graphics. We can’t be sure if this chipset or smartphone will make an appearance at MWC. But the numbers hinted at its pre-production phase.
We’ll keep you updated about this chipset and the mysterious realme phone.
