Following the HONOR 200 Lite 5G announcement, the brand unveils its latest tablet, the Pad 9 Pro.
The Pad 9 Pro stands as the more powerful sibling to the Pad 9 released last month. It boasts significant upgrades across the board, including processor, RAM, storage, battery, and more.
Stunning Display
The tablet features a large 12.1-inch TFT LCD panel with a sharp 2560 x 1600 resolution. It boasts a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for a butter-like browsing and gaming experience. Additionally, the display covers the DCI-P3 wide color gamut, offering vibrant visuals with 1.07 billion colors.
A powerhouse
Under the hood, HONOR equips the Pad 9 Pro with a powerful 2.85GHz 4nm Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor paired with Mali-G610 MP6 GPU. This combination ensures smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and running demanding applications. Users can choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM for enhanced multitasking capabilities, along with 256GB of storage.
Long-Lasting Battery
The Pad 9 Pro packs a massive 10,050mAh battery for all-day use. It supports fast charging via USB-C with the included 35W power brick.
Camera Setup
While tablets aren’t primarily known for their cameras, the Pad 9 Pro offers a decent setup with a 13MP rear camera for capturing documents or casual photos. The 5MP front camera facilitates video calls.
Connectivity and Software
The tablet boasts quad speakers for immersive audio and connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2. It runs the latest Android 14 operating system with HONOR’s MagicOS 6.0 skin on top.
Pricing and Availability (China Only)
The HONOR Pad 9 Pro is currently available for purchase in China. Prices start at CNY 2,199 (~₱17,497.01) for the 8GB/256GB variant and go up to CNY 2,499 (~₱19,884.06) for the 12GB/256GB version. It’s important to note that these prices are for the Chinese market and do not include taxes or duties.
