TECNO honors India’s recent lunar mission with a brand-new edition for Spark 10 Pro.
India successfully landed its lunar lander-rover on the moon this year. Called Chandrayaan-3, the rover made its landing near the lunar south pole on August 23, 2023 12:33 UTC, making India the first nation to do so.
To pay respect to India’s scientific milestone, TECNO announced a new edition for its Spark 10 Pro. The TECNO Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is inspired by the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission, so expect its design and color scheme to be close to the lunar rover.
The design comes with a one-piece eco-leather back panel that features a big contrast. Most of the backside is dark while the camera module and its adjacent side is white, akin to the moon’s surface.
Is there a big difference between TECNO Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition and the regular version? The real difference is the aesthetics as TECNO retained the same specs on the upcoming variant. TECNO Spark 10 Pro Explorer Edition features the Helio G88 + Mali-G52 chipset, Android 13 + HiOS 12.6, 6.78 inches screen, and 5000mAh battery unit. The battery unit charges at the same rate as the regular version at 18w. The camera setup is the same as well, with 50MP + 0.08MP at the back and 32MP at the front.
You can only find a single version of the TECNO Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition, however which has 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. This also means that the top version of the regular TECNO Spark 10 Pro is a little better with its 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
The expected price of TECNO Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is ₱8,542.06, converted from ₹12,499. People in India can now pre-order the device but it will go on sale on September 15 via retailers.
