This new JCB Toughphone Max battery can last for 30 days!

JCB, the renowned British heavy equipment manufacturer, is making a comeback in the smartphone arena, and they mean business. The JCB Toughphone and Toughphone Max are two rugged Android phones that can handle whatever you throw at them. The Toughphone Max can even last up to 30 days, but at what cost? Let’s find out!

Design

These bad boys are MIL-SPEC 810G compliant, boasting an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. That means the phones can sink up to 1.5m deep for 30 minutes and still survive. That’s tough!
Both devices sport a hardened polycarbonate frame and back, featuring metal elements for that extra durability.

Display

The Toughphone rocks a 5.7-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a neat waterdrop notch housing a powerful 20MP front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Toughphone Max takes it up a notch with a larger 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, rocking FHD+ resolution. It features a sleek punch-hole cutout to house its 20MP selfie cam. And to keep those displays safe, JCB has you covered with Gorilla Glass protection and added drop protection thanks to a rubber rim. They even threw in pre-applied glass screen protectors for that extra peace of mind.

Performance

The Toughphone rocks the Helio P22 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample space for all your apps and files. As for the Toughphone Max, it steps it up a notch with the Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a generous 256GB of storage. These phones can handle anything you throw at them!

Cameras

The Toughphone brings a single 20MP rear camera with an LED flash, capturing your moments with clarity. But if you want to up your photography game, the Toughphone Max has you covered. It flaunts a mighty 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide module, a 2MP macro cam, and even a VGA module for those nostalgic vibes.

Battery

Battery life is always a concern, but the Toughphone has a solid 4,050mAh battery, while its big brother, the Toughphone Max, takes it to the next level with a whopping 12,200mAh cell. Yes, you heard that right! That means it can last up to 30 days on time. These phones will keep up with your busy lifestyle.

Pricing and availability

The JCB Toughphone is available for a price tag of £300 which is around Php 21,250. On the other hand, the Toughphone Max comes in at £600 which is roughly Php 42,500. Deliveries will kick off in mid-July, so you won’t have to wait too long.
