This was the question asked of respondents pagdating sa news outlets sa Pilipinas. The survey was conducted by Publicus Asia, Inc, an “SEC-registered lobbying and campaigns firm” located in Pasig, Manila.
Here are the results:
The first to rank is CNN Philippines, followed by GMA Network, and third in place is Philippine Daily inquirer. The bottom players are SMNI, ABS-CBN, and the Manila Standard.
Manila Times and TV 5 are in close competition, with only a 0.7% difference.
Unfortunately, Rappler is not in this list – either the respondents asked were not aware of Rappler, or the news outlet simply didn’t have that much traction in terms of trust rating to not gain its place on the list.
