Umidigi Active T1 tablet with 15,000mAh battery announced

The trend continues around tablets with crazy large battery capacity and rugged build — is there a market for this? There is.

This summer, you can order the Umidigi Active T1 Android tablet. The new Umidigi robust Android tablet has three charging options and a 15,000mAh battery. With an 8GB+128GB memory/storage combination, it supports WiFi, a POGO pin (like the newest MacBook Pro 2022), and USB-C charging.

The Active T1 has an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels. It will add to the lineup of Umidigi tablets, which currently include the G3 Tab, A11 Tab, and A13 Tab. But out of the bunch, the Active T1 is the toughest. It meets the MIL-STD-810G, IP68, and IP69 specifications for dependability and durability. The Active T1 will include a stylus and allow you to use the display while wearing gloves. Additionally, it has a keyboard mode for more interesting mobile work.

The Umidigi Active T1 slate’s processor specifications have not yet been released, however, they could be either a MediaTek or Unisoc model. Additionally, the gadget has a microSD card slot that supports cards with up to 1TB of additional storage.

Through its USB-C outlet and POGO connector, 20W rapid charging is possible in terms of charging rates. A charging dock and wireless charging are both supported by the POGO connector. This summer is when the Umidigi Active T1 tablet is expected to release.

Although information on cost and total availability is lacking, it is anticipated that this information will become available in the following weeks. The rugged tablet’s complete specifications will also be revealed as the release date approaches.
