vivo’s next flagship iQOO 12 got some gorgeous features, but hopefully, it reaches PH’s shore too!
This year, vivo may have something big for camera performance. A leakster by the name of Digital Chat Station made a post on Weibo and suggested that iQOO 12 Pro is getting a 64-MP periscope zoom camera.
This is not the first time DCS revealed something to vivo fans. Earlier this month, DCS claimed that iQOO 12 Pro will sport the Omnivision OV50H 50MP 1/1.28-inch main camera shooter, which boasts a sensor size of 1.2 µm. Note: Omnivision is an American semiconductor company focused on sensing and imaging.
So, the rumor mill is now iQOO 12 featuring the OV50H main shooter coupled with the OV64B 64MP periscope camera. The latter is allegedly being worked on by vivo, specifically how to place it behind the 5x zoom lens. While that sounds good, the leakster didn’t say anything about the ultra-wide camera. Though it may end up with a 50-MP ultra-wide lens, which the iQOO 11 pro has.
The OV50H camera comes with a dual conversion gain technology. The tech claims to provide flagship-level, low-light, and autofocus performance. It also supports 12.5MP at 120 FPS, and HDR at 60 FPS.
The leakster also claims that iQOO 12 should have the V3 ISP chip, which hosts impressive features for capturing images and videos. If you want this flagship device, you may need to wait at the end of the year after the vivo x100 series launches.
