vivo V29 Pro launch date and specs teased online: An unexpected turn?

vivo is back at it again with a surprise release. Just weeks after the V27 Pro hit the scene, the Chinese company is already teasing us with the vivo V29 Pro. Something seems a bit off here because normally, we expect successors to jump a couple of numbers forward, but this quick release has got us scratching our heads.

But hey, let’s not dwell on the odd timing. vivo Philippines has dropped a teaser page for the upcoming V29 Pro and here is all you should know.

First up, we’ve got a 6.7-inch 1080p 120 Hz curved OLED display. To accompany that, there is a “64 MP triple rear camera. Yeah you read that right. The front-facing camera is an impressive 50 MP main shooter (implying there might be even more cameras up its sleeve).

The V29 Pro uses a 5000mAh battery, ready to keep you powered up all day long. All this power house depends on the power from the 66W wired charging. The phone boasts a whopping 12GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of storage. That’s plenty of room for all your apps, photos, and videos.

Comparing it to its predecessor, the V27 Pro, the V29 Pro seems to rock a similar screen but takes it up a notch with that impressive 64 MP main rear camera.

Now, let’s talk software. The V29 Pro is will run the latest Android 13, with vivo’s very own Funtouch 13 custom skin on top. It’s coming in hot with a stunning display, mind-blowing camera capabilities, and a powerhouse of a battery. Stay tuned for more updates because this is one smartphone that’s going to make waves!
