vivo has launched a more budget-friendly version of its V29 series, featuring a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display and a 64MP rear camera

The new phone showcases a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 along with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, accompanied by the Adreno 619L GPU. It packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB on the UFS 2.2 platform. There’s room for expansion via a microSD card, and the phone supports hybrid dual-nano SIM cards. Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which can be rapidly charged at 44W through the USB-C port.
Turning to its photography capabilities, the phone’s rear features a 64MP main camera with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an LED flash. On the front, nestled within a punch hole, is a 50MP selfie camera with Auto Focus.
The phone operates on FunTouchOS 13, based on Android 13, and incorporates additional features like an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS.
In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 164.42 x 74.92 x 7.57mm and weighs 180.5 grams. It is offered in Artistic Red and Artistic Blue color options.
When converted to Philippine Peso (PHP) without considering taxes and duties, the prices for the vivo V29e variants are as follows:
- vivo V29e 8GB/128GB – INR 26,999 (approximately PHP 18,500)
- vivo V29e 8GB/256GB – INR 28,999 (approximately PHP 19,900)
The phone is currently open for pre-orders and will be accessible for purchase in India through the vivo website, Flipkart, and vivo offline stores starting from September 7, 2023.
