vivo S18 lineup may go global as vivo V30 series, according to a new leak.
A new vivo smartphone gets NCC certification, which revealed some of its specs and design. It’ss assumed to be vivo V30, a lineup expected to succeed V29 of last year.
As per report, the brand is launching the premium mid-range lineup called S18 in China. However, this series may be rebranded for a global rollout as vivo V30 and V30 Lite for the S18 and S18e, respectively.
While there’s no solid proof as of writing, the report revealed that the vivo V30 was discovered NCC certified with the model number V2318. The discovery also led to the design factor and key specs.
The alleged vivo V30 smartphone in the above image features a sleek black colorway having curved edges for better grip and punch hole cutout at the front. At the back, the device sports a rectangular camera housing for two rear cameras and a single LED flash.
The power key and volume rockers are placed on the right side while the USB-C port, speaker grille, SIM tray, and main microphone are located at the bottom of the phone.
For the specs, the vivo V30 may likely have a 4895 mAh battery (marketed as 5000 mAh) with 80 watts fast-charging support, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of ROM. It’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 based on Geekbench scores in November.
The scores showed Adreno 720, the GPU for SD 7 Gen 3. Anyway, the clock speed is configured as 1 x 2.63 GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, and 4 x 1.8 GHz.
The vivo V30 series may launch globally around July with possible arrival in-stores by September based on the pattern of V29.
