vivo X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro leaked specs: Snapdragon processor and periscope telephoto camera

Some key specs on vivo X Fold 3 series surfaced online ahead of launch. The info also revealed key differences between base and pro models.

An upcoming major event in China is taking place this first quarter of 2024, as per speculation. In that event, two devices are rumored to make an appearance and they’re from vivo.

These are the alleged vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro, both foldable mobile devices powered by Snapdragon chipsets. A popular tipster claimed that the vivo X Fold 3 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, but lacks a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera, 50-watt wireless charging, and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, according to a report.

However, other rumors suggest that the vivo X Fold 3 Pro will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a better rear main camera setup. It’s rumored to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, an ultrawide lens, and the above-mentioned periscope camera.

Here are the other things likely included in the Pro version:

  • Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor
  • 50w wireless charging
  • LTPO AMOLED panel
  • 2K display resolution
  • 120Hz refresh rate

The still unnamed vivo event this first quarter is also rumored to showcase two more devices. The vivo Pad 3 which is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and the vivo X100s which features a flat display.

Stay tuned to get updates about the devices and the schedule of this much-awaited vivo event.
