vivo Y02t Global gets TDRA certification: A closer look before launch!

vivo is adding another piece to their Y series lineup and that is vivo Y02t global, a budget-friendly smartphone making global debut soon. The phone has recently appeared on the TDRA website, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner.

The company has been churning out some great smartphones like the vivo Y35+ and vivo Y36, catering to different regions, with some exclusively available in China. But now, they’re preparing to introduce a new budget-friendly option, the vivo Y02t. We’ve seen numerous leaks about this device, and with its TDRA certification, it’s pretty clear that the launch is imminent.

It’s worth noting that there’s already a device with the same name available in the Indian market. However, this particular variant we’re talking about is specifically for the global audience. The vivo Y02t, with the model number V2254, has made an appearance on the TDRA website. Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t reveal much beyond the model number.

Display

Since the smartphone is already official in India, we can expect the global version to have the same features. It sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 270 PPI and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. In terms of dimensions, it measures 164 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs 186 grams.

Performance

Under the hood, the vivo Y02t is powered by a MediaTek Helio P30 processor, paired with a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It packs 3 GB of RAM and offers 32 GB of internal storage. On the camera front, you’ll find a single 8 MP shooter on the rear and a 5 MP selfie camera on the front.

Battery

Powering the device is a hefty 5000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. It comes in stylish Black and Gold color options and runs on Android 13 out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

As for the pricing, the Indian version of the vivo Y02t is already listed on Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 (around Php 6,801). With that in mind, the vivo Y02t global should play around the same price point.
