vivo appears to have plans to introduce a new phone in their Y-series, possibly named the vivo Y77t. This unreleased device has made its debut in the Google Supported Devices list and Play Console, carrying the model number V2278A. Interestingly, this model number is also associated with other Vivo phones.
Among these phones is the vivo Y78 and vivo Y78m. While the vivo Y78 has already been officially announced, the Y78m, spotted on the Play Console in May, is still awaiting its official unveiling. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications that have emerged from the Play Console listing for the vivo Y77t.
The image of the vivo Y77t available in the Play Console listing reveals an elegantly curved-edge display with a centered punch-hole. The screen boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels, according to the listing.
Beneath the surface, the vivo Y77t houses the MediaTek MT6855 chip, featuring 2 x ARM Cortex-A78 CPUs working at 2.2GHz, along with 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 CPUs clocking at 2.0GHz, and an IMG BMX 8-256 950MHz GPU. These details confirm that the Vivo Y77t is powered by the Dimensity 7020 chipset.
The listing further discloses that the vivo Y77t is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and operates on Android 13. However, no information regarding the camera setup, battery capacity, or fast charging capabilities of the device is available.
The vivo Y78 shares the same specifications as well, including an 8-megapixel front camera, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
Currently, there is no official information regarding the launch date of the vivo Y77t or the markets in which it will be available. Considering that devices appearing on the Play Console often go official shortly afterward, it is anticipated that the vivo Y77t will be officially unveiled in the next few weeks.
