DXOMARK praises Xiaomi 14’s camera improvements over its predecessor, Xiaomi 13.
Xiaomi 14 is officially out and it offers premium camera and gaming experience in a compact body. In the camera arena, popular camera benchmark website, DXOMARK, has already rated this Xiaomi flagship.
DXOMARK considers Xiaomi 14 as one of the best camera phones in the premium division. The handset secures the third spot just after Google Pixel 8 and Apple iPhone 15. Meanwhile, in the global ranking, Xiaomi 14 is at the 28th spot.

The remarks suggest that Xiaomi 14 excels in landscape photography because of its very neutral white balance.
That means sceneries will end up impressive, while faces and certain particulars may look a bit disappointing due to AF issues. The counter here is precision by manually focusing on the targets to assist the sensors.
Another excelling point of Xiaomi 14 is zoom, thanks to its 50MP telephoto lens. When you zoom, textures are highly preserved and this is quite difficult for many models to overcome.
