Foldables getting some love with these LEICA-tuned cameras in the Mi Mix Fold 3, compared to other foldable which received some nerfing in regard to their sensors
Great news: Xiaomi has just made an exciting announcement that the latest addition to their Mix Fold series, the Mix Fold 3, is set to be released this August.
What makes this device particularly special is that it’s built using an improved manufacturing method that ensures greater durability for its foldable body. This means that users can expect a longer lifespan and more durability from their devices.
In addition, Xiaomi has also partnered with Leica to develop an innovative solution for an “optical full-focus quad-cam setup.” This means that the Mix Fold 3 will boast four cameras, unlike its predecessors which only had three.

It’s worth noting that only vivo and Huawei have foldable with four cameras on the back, achieved through a combination of wide, ultrawide, and 2 telephoto cameras, one with a periscope lens.
We’re eagerly awaiting more information on the specs of Xiaomi’s implementation, so stay tuned.
