The leaks just got better and better as Oppo will also release a new budget handset in the vein of Oppo A17.
The OPPO A17, according to numerous leaks will sport a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 5000mAh of battery capacity, and a pair of cameras in the back (50MP and 2MP one in the back, another 5MP in the front).
For its RAM, the OPPO A17 is reported with 4GB of it, but has another 4GB RAM up under its sleeves due to the Virtual RAM feature. It will have a 64GB of internal storage as well. It can also be expanded via the microSDXC slot.
As for the other features, it will retain a microUSB port for its charging and data transferring, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IPX4 water resistance feature, a 720p LCD display, and the classic waterdrop notch.
As for what makes it special, one of the highlights of the Oppo A17 is the faux-leather like texture of its back panel, which is one of the source of hype around it.
Pre-orders are available now in Singapore and Malaysia, and with a price tag of around ₱7,800 and above, we can see that many Oppo enthusiasts wanting to have an Oppo one can really afford this one.
