Samsung S23+ with SD 8 Gen 2 spotted on Geekbench

The most flagship-est of all flagship Android phones (if that’s even a word), the upcoming S23+ was sighted on Geekbench days ago

Early in 2023, Samsung will debut the Galaxy S23 series. The launch is scheduled to take place in January of next year, as we have learnt.

The Samsung Galaxy S23+ showed up on GeekBench today. The US version is the one that was spotted. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is still included. Additionally, the screenshot shows that the phone uses 8GB of memory.

This model houses an eight-core SoC with the Kalama codename. It has either 1 + 4 + 3 or 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 cores configured. The super core has a 3.36GHz top frequency. There are also three big cores running at 2.80GHz. The Adreno 740 GPU is also built into the chip.

Regarding the benchmark results, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ received 1,485 points for the single-core test and 4,844 points for the multi-core test. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 scores 1333 and 4211 on the equivalent tests as a point of comparison.

As a result, the performance of the forthcoming model has increased by 9% for multi-core performance and by 14% for single-core performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also showed up on GeekBench earlier. It received a 1,521 on the single-core test, and a 4,689 on the multi-core test.

On the same benchmarking platform, the stock Samsung Galaxy S23 series receives scores of 1524 and 4597.

The top model will have outstanding characteristics as usual. Let’s say that it will have a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh capabilities. A 200MP primary sensor will be part of the back’s primary camera. The 5000mAh battery may be charged @ 45W.

On the other hand, the S23 Plus and S23 have displays that are 6.6 inches and 6.1 inches, respectively. They will support a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, a 50MP sensor will be present in the primary camera. They will also include a 4700mAh battery that supports 25W rapid charging.
