Upcoming Tensor G3 processor will be made by Samsung

It’s been a couple of months now since the Google Pixel 7 with the Tensor G2 has been released and now, new reports regarding the Tensor G3

Only a few months have passed since Google introduced its Pixel 7 range of smartphones, which are equipped with its own Tensor G2 processor. Currently, information regarding the upcoming Tensor processor is leaking online.

In the most recent development, a report suggests that Google’s Tensor G3 processor, code-named Zuma, will continue to be manufactured by Samsung for the forthcoming chipset.

Online information has also revealed some additional data in addition to the codename and manufacturer. According to rumors, the Tensor G3 will be a Samsung Exynos 2300 clone. There are currently no available details concerning the Tensor G3 CPU.

However, despite the fact that Samsung will be replacing its own Exynos semiconductors in the upcoming premium Galaxy S23 lineup with Qualcomm chips, the company has already begun development on its Exynos 2300 chip.

The article also mentions that Samsung might produce the chip with the codename Zuma using the more sophisticated 3nm technology.

In contrast, the 5nm node is used to construct the most recent Tensor G2. Additionally, it is claimed that Google will use the same modem found in the existing chipset for the future Tensor processor.
