Budget offering vivo Y01A launched in Thailand

Oh look, it’s another Vivo phone, and it’s another budget smartphone, but what’s good about this?

Thailand has officially launched the Vivo Y01A. It is an updated version of the Vivo Y01, which made its debut in March of this year. Similar to the Y01, its new brother features entry-level specs.

The Vivo Y01A has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 720 x 1600 HD+ resolution. The device lacks a fingerprint reader. It has a face unlock feature instead for biometric authentication.

There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera inside the display notch. An 8-megapixel camera and an LED flash are housed in a camera module that is square-shaped on the device’s back panel. The phone is powered by FunTouch OS 11.1 and Android 11 (Go edition).

The MediaTek Helio P35 CPU and a 5,000mAh battery power the Y01A. The microUSB port of the gadget can handle 10W of charging. 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM are included. There is a microSD card slot on the smartphone for extra storage.

Along with dual SIM capability, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack, the smartphone has other features. It weighs about 178 grams and has dimensions of 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm.

In Thailand, the Vivo Y01A costs THB 3,999, or around Php6,000. It is available in hues like Elegant Black and Sapphire Blue. In the upcoming days, the product is also anticipated to be released in additional areas like India.
