Your iPhone has now more ads than ever before

Apple decided to double down on showing ads to all iPhone users worldwide and the employees aren’t happy about it

For obvious reasons, Apple is increasing the number of adverts on the iPhone. To increase revenue, the business is placing more advertisements on the iPhone.

Some of its employees, though, are not pleased. Regarding adding more adverts to the iPhone, there are disagreements within the firm. The advertising department’s managers are of the opinion that this will lower quality.

They claim that displaying more adverts will damage the company’s brand and user experience. Apple has been providing this for years, but it is currently in ruins.

The Apple advertising team operates in a unique way. The future growth of its advertising industry is a source of internal worry. Internal staff are not allowed to utilize certain keywords when discussing the company’s advertising business.

Apple, for instance, thinks internally that salesmen should use “audience refinement” rather than “positioning.” Additionally, they ought to substitute “platform” for “algorithm.” Similar reasoning applies to “competitor keywords” and “brand defense” in place of “conquer”.

Apple demands that its staff speak in a tone appropriate for their products. Because the company does not permit advertising to target particular customers, terms like “targeting” are not applicable. Apple prohibits advertising from focusing on user groups with less than 5,000 people in order to safeguard user privacy.

More flak from critics and users alike

The App Store’s increased advertising has drawn criticism from users, consumers, and developers over the last few weeks. Additionally, according to the report, Apple intends to add advertisements to Apple Maps and Apple TV+.

There are rumors, though, that the business has no plans to grow its advertising division. It won’t grow to be as big as Meta or Google, at least.

All signs point to the corporation needing further funding, though. Even though it says it won’t expand its advertising business, we can’t be too sure. Increased iPhone advertising is the first step toward a fully developed advertising industry.
