Doogee T20 tablet with Unisoc chipset will launch this month

Need a budget tablet option that doesn’t suck on anything? Well, the guys at Doogee is determined to deliver just that!

The Doogee T10 tablet, made by the Chinese electronics company Doogee, which is best known for its tough cellphones, has entered the tablet market.

A month later, the company now seems to be getting ready to introduce a replacement, which is anticipated to be on sale before the year is up.

The new tablet will have some noticeable improvements over the Doogee T10, making it a compelling option for those prepared to spend a little more money for greater features.

The tablet will initially sport a slightly larger 10.4-inch screen with a 2K resolution as opposed to the T10’s FHD+ resolution. Widevine L1 and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certifications for the display are included.

A Unisoc Tiger 616 chipset will be used in the gadget, and it will include 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. While the back will feature a 16MP camera for taking images, the front will feature an 8MP camera for video calls.

The device will support two nano SIM cards or a SIM + TF card, and the operating system will be based on Android 12. The tablet’s large 8,300mAh battery has a fast charging capacity of 18W.

The tablet will support Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and GPS with Beidou/A-GPS/GLONASS/Galileo. The typical retail packaging contains the tablet, charger, data cable, SIM card removal pin, user handbook, capacitive stylus, and TPU leather case.

The Doogee T20 supports attaching to an external keyboard through a docking plug-in interface. But you’ll need to buy the keyboard or keyboard case separately. Sadly, a 3.5 mm audio jack is not there.

The first 500 units will be sold at a discounted price of US$149 or around ₱8,300 starting on December 22. The price will rise to US$179 or around ₱9,983 after that, however other discounts may still be offered depending on the retailer. Thankfully, you can buy it easily on their Lazada and Shopee stores.
